A new bag

Need something on my tank in June for documents, map etc. so rather than sellotape a plastic bag to the tank I thought a tank bag might be the better answer.
This bag is fabulous, it's not too big so I can still see the instrument lights and speedometer, it's magnetic so easy to remove and carry around (velcro fastenings require the tank to be lifted to get straps underneath), and it expands to a 10 litre capacity. It's perfect for what I want it for.
And the reason? In June I am signed up to do a charity ride to raise funds for the RBL Poppy Appeal. It's called the RBLR1000 as there is a 1000 mile route. There is a also a 500 mile route which I have opted for as it is the first time I've done such a ride. It's organised by the Iron Butt Association, no guesses as to why it's called that!
I reckon it's going to take me about 14 hours with fuel, food, toilet and numb bum breaks.
The route I will be taking is in the extra;
Leeds Squires Cafe - Kendal - Whitehaven - Carlisle - Hawick - Berwick on Tweed - Alnwick - Jarrow - Middlesborough - Beverley - Leeds PHEW!

Don't worry, I'll let everyone know how donations can be made to sponsor me and I'll encourage everyone to spread it around by email and social media.  :-)
