Gooodbye Vinnie...

Sadly , my daughter's little Patterdale terrier passed away. He was fourteen and a half years old and had several health problems. He liked the luxury of sleeping on a satin quilt and would sneak into the spare bedroom, looking innocent when I happened to go in there. Patterdales are an English breed of working dog from the Northern terrier breeds of the early 1900's, originally bred in the Lake District. Their temperament is friendly, inquisitive, energetic, intelligent, bold and confident. When kept as pets they are often known to run around like mad in a household. Vinnie would do this when he wanted to play. When the children watched TV he would join them on the settee , sitting up on his bottom just like his human family. We shall all miss him and his funny little ways.
