Behind the Beach at Carskey Bay
5.0C with a sunny spells and cloudy spells. Wind ENE/E to 33 mph with gusts to 49 mph.
Maeve the Deerhound was up at 6am. We went for our walk.
Grocery shopping over by mid morning. Maeve stayed at home.
We went the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. No seals on the rocks at Kiel. We walked along with Maeve to the far end and came back again. There were some patches of sunlight over the farmland behind the beach. Very cold in the wind. Apothecary7 found a piece of roofing slate with two nail holes on the beach. Slate can be painted. Something could be made and hung from then nail holes.
There was one box of eggs for sale at Little farm today. I bought it. 5 brown shells and one white.
6 nations rugby. France beat Scotland.
Later Apothecary7 was painting.
Afternoon music ... BBC Radio 2. Van Morrison, Keep Me Singing.
