A hazy shade of winter!

A snow day quite literally falls from the sky and has a sense of being uninvited...yet is a thing that evokes wonder and releases the inner child in many. 

Today the snow fell quickly with biting cold winds to boot and has now turned to icy rain. A long stroll this afternoon in the Shibden Valley, taking paths in the woods long ear marked for exploration! It was freezing cold and in fairness, dismal weather wise - a severe lack of light! However, I really enjoyed it. 

Back home with a huge mug of tea and a rosy glow!
