Another Bee

The wool carder bees are back. I first saw them this time last year.  Once again they are interested only in this Sempervivum flower. There are other pollen and nectar flowers about, but they are ignored. I can’t tell if it’s after pollen, nectar or fibres from the plant.

Wool carder bees are interesting to watch as they hover and dart, similar to hover flies. The antennae give them away.
