De icing

Off to Vancouver for three days for a conference
Departure from Calgary was delayed by the necessary de icing prior to take off
I'm not sure why it adds so much time to the take off process: 0C is not unusual in Calgary and your would have thought that the airport had perfected the routine rather than having it add 40 minutes to our travel time
