The Church of The Good Shepherd

This iconic Church is at Lake Tekapo. It was given by a run holder and has become known by people all over the world people come from afar just to get married there. We photographers go to a lot of bother to photograph it with no people around it. Yesterday I purposely took it like this to show you what it is like most of the time. New Year there were just hundreds around it all of the time.
I helped take a service there once and even though there was a sign put up saying that there was a service on people were looking in the windows the whole time.
The extra is the boats at Lake Alexandrina where we stopped over night. They are just left  like that most of the year pulled up beside the lake ready for the owners to row out and try to catch a fish. What a wonderful 24 hour break it was. We just sat in the sun and read and talked. This is my back blip for yesterday now I need to go and find one for today.
