'Danny'

A really lovely day with the family today. Travelled down to Chandlers Ford..once again we went via Amberley...some nice views of snow dusted hills and woodland....nearer Portsmouth it had gone.

A few weeks ago I introduced 'Danny'...a foster guide dog my daughter is training for 12 months. He is nine weeks old now...a very sweet natured boy ..lovely calm temperament. He is already sitting and waiting to command....seems very intelligent. We all feel that he will make the grade as a Guide Dog for the Blind, .but time will tell. He is allowed a fifty yard walk outside the house, to get used to the lead...but no more until his jabs are finished. He's had a visit around Sainsbury's and my grandsons school...lots of attention wherever he goes. The Guide Dog Assiciation want him to have as many experiences as possible, and they will be carefully monitoring. Adorable puppy....and so lucky to be in a happy loving home for his training. (How do you give them back?)
