Over 370 odd miles
Thanks to hubby & No1 son who did all the very heavy lifting.
I drove up & son drove back then I returned the van leaving hubby & son at base.
Delivered suite to a friend but her house too small to take the bloody big 3 seater recliner so can't remember who had the brainwave of giving it to the local second hand shop which by this time was shut so we hoofed it over to their house & yes they were delighted to take it.
No 1 son was especially glad as this is the 5th time he has dismantled and moved the damn thing.
On the way back to Oban with the van I found myself getting very emotional and raw as this was the last item from my late parents home to find an owner. None of us could take it for one reason or another so It was quite a quest to persuade someone / anyone to take it. The van radio played all the tunes my dad & I used to sing together and I struggled a bit. Funny how no matter how deep we try to hide our feelings they are there just below the surface even almost 8 years after losing both my parents within 3 months of each other. 
Tomorrow  i'm walking, no more driving!
I will try to upload some of the shots I grabbed with my phone.
Note the Gaelic spelling of place names, I like seeing the language of my culture when I'm out & about. 
Mind you the weather was beautiful and stunning scenery.
