Ely Cathedral

A trip today for lunch and a catch up at Ely with my good friend L. Ely is an excellent mid-way point and there's lots to do.  Today it was bitterly cold and not a day for walking about, certainly not down by the river. I only had my compact camera on me, but it's always a pleasure to pop in to look around the cathedral. There was an exhibition of photos of cathedral naves in the UK - amazing how different they looked.
