Waiting to be covered

12 metres of piping cord purchased from my lovely man on the market today.  His haberdashery is always good value - of course his shop is made of canvas and the wind whistles round on a day like today.  I went back to my warm car and he had a few more hours to go standing in the cold.
Have got four friends coming to lunch tomorrow so I have been busy making a cottage pie and apple crumble.  We have a lot of catching up to do and I do not want to waste time standing over a hot stove!
Might have to flick a duster round too!
