Phoned round my golf mates, "Will we get a round?"
"But there's snow on the ground!",
"Snow on the ground!"

Said to the Mrs (B), "I'm going for some putts". (Da da da di da)
She looked out the window, "Are you blipping nuts?"
"Yeah, blipping nuts!"

I've got the Bathgate non-golf blues yeah.

Drove to the golf course, there was no-one around. (Da da da di da)
Spoke to the Pro, he said "There's snow on the ground!"
"Look there's snow on the ground!"

Slunk back home freezing, sobbing and hurt.
Bumped into the Mrs (B), "Did you manage a putt?
"No....... WELL GO GET A HAIRCUT!"
