Bristol

We went to Bristol today and met Colin as it's a convenient mid-point between Stratford and Dawlish (actually it's further for him, but then he comes by train).  Anyway in spite of the near freezing temperatures we had a good day, moving from one warm place to another with just some little walks in between. My highlight of the day was visiting the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2016 exhibition in M-Shed, Bristol's museum in the dock area. A wonderful display of the top 100 photographs taken for the competition.


This is Ann and Colin crossing Pero's Bridge over the inland harbour towards Millennium Square. The extra is a close up of the bridge used for paddock love tokens.

ps a year ago when we were in Bristol I mentioned a pub where we went for tea, but forgot the name.  We had been trying to find it when we stumbled on it opposite Bella (it's called Hy-Brasil Music Club).  So we had tea and drinks there, it was VERY NOISY! !
