Had a meeting down at Gala today, the journey to which was disappointingly marred by torrential rain and poor visability. Anyway, enjoyed my visit, met some great folk and got a lot of good work done.

Big mistake was to organise a second meeting early afternoon back at West Lothian. However, a couple of phone calls secured a rearrangement of time which was just as well as the journey back was worse due to even more torrential rain and flooding.

Have recently taken to listening to talking books in the car and even I find I'm more relaxed and oft times smiling whilst on journeys like these. Unheard of, really.

I parked in front of this derelict cottage to pop into a newsagent's on the way back up the road from the Borders.
