Our hottest day in ages....

I am not sure of the record high temperature but this is getting up there. Taken from the computer display from Bob's weather station which is in the back garden up on top of a wooden fence. The thermometer in the breezeway ( not) was in the high 40s. No wonder my fuschias went crisp. I stayed indoors for most of the day and wasn't affected to be honest.

The extra shows my son in law putting a coat of cement render on his garage this afternoon, it looks great and he did it in this heat. We went out to their place as Nina's old buddy arrived with her three young children, so nice to catch up. They have been friends for 20 years so part of the family.
