Snow at the depot

We decided to venture out today - and got stuck in the driveway.  There was such a layer of ice under the slush that G couldn't get any traction.  We made it about 3/4 of the way after a few tries then couldn't get any further, so on went the chains, got unstuck, and only had to drive a few yards before we were out of the icy part.  The roads were okay, narrow in parts, but clear for the most part.  After fueling up and going to the recycling depot, we had lunch at Auntie Pesto's instead of breakfast at Barb's Buns as we'd planned.  It was nice to go for a brief outing.  It's warmed up, the snow is melting but it's going to take awhile, and hopefully there won't be much flooding around the island.  So weird to see big piles of snow like this around town!
