I went for a brisk walk this afternoon with Pip but of course no Lula who was a tad miffed when I said no to her!

Goodness there was a biting wind out across the fields. I suppose there is not a lot between us and America as far a wind and storms are concerned! You can tell the direction of the prevailing wind from the tree to the right of the farm house. We haven't had any snow this year and it rarely settles for long as we are only about a mile from the coast as the crow flies. We are forecast to perhaps get a dusting over the next few days.

Farming - one of those days! As Mr Tbay was discussing the quote for our insurance cover with our agent they both remarked on the fact we had no real claims last year. The phone rings as they are chatting. It's Rusty who has just had a minor bump. Hmmmm! Not his fault but you know what the outcome will be!! Mr Tbay Jnr out all day hauling bales again. Two on compost hauling and one tanking.
