STILL THERE

The rains have slacked off, and the creek went down a bit last night.  You can see now that the water pushing up against this Alder tree actually lifted the front of this block up.  Now it is wedged up against the tree.  Cotton wood is very heavy since it is mostly water itself.  The only way it is going to move now is for the water to get higher than it was when it landed (against all odds) there.  Finally, something interesting happened around here!
