Took young Jake to see the orthodontist today. Here was me thinking we were heading to the Dental hospital when in fact our appointment was at a wee swish orthodontists close by. Very moderne! ;)

Jake went through the whole process very well including the gag inducer and getting mug shots taken while his mouth had been extended by spatulas into a Wallace and Grommet type smile. Top and bottom of it is we wait two months for the NHS to process the application and decide if his case warrants them paying for it to be treated (dentist thinks so) otherwise its now up to the parents to stump up the 2k to allow him to have straight teeth... so much for NHS services being free at the point of delivery.....

The rest of the day was spent at home working and sheltering from the rain. So the wee sparras were the perfect victim for a blip....just need to be more patient!
