Doing a bit of preening

I decided to go and look for the Spoonbill birds on the estuary this afternoon, but after seeing them there alot recently while driving around the area I couldn't see them at all today, just when I had my big camera all ready!
There was a lot of bird activity though, low tide  great for feeding.
This one was having a good stretch, scratch and tidy up. Out of shot there were about 30 others doing the same.
