Cones
went to V & A museum today to see the Ballgown Exhibition some we loved others we didn't, there was a short film running all the time so we sat and watched, it was showing fashion from mainly 50's onwards, their hairstyles were big and didn't move and they always had one hand on their hip, the catwalk style was nothing like it is today and the models looked much older than i'm sure they really were...there was so many blips the three African ladies busy with sketch pads, an evening coat which depicts a profusion of roses in an urn which can also be viewed as two faces in profile, the double image held a particular fascination for surrealists such as Salvador Dali...my blip was to the entrance of museum, road cones all white hung upside down so thats where they store them...
