Mister Casual: One Year Later

One year ago today we brought home a four year old orange tabby cat named Sammy.
We agreed to adopt Sammy from a family that was no longer able to properly care for him.
As you might expect, he spent the first few days in his new home hiding and likely trying to figure out what happened.
But it didn't take very long for Sammy to plunge right in and take advantage of the love and freedom (from what we understand he was kept fairly isolated) we provided and he seemed to happily adjust to his new life.
Even our vet was shocked when we brought Sammy in for a check up after the first month and he went from a cat that was in his words essentially 'feral', to a sweet little house kitty. 
We hope that a year later Sammy is happy with his new life and home and we are very pleased to have him in our lives.
