Swanning around

I went back to Pennington Flash today.....with money for the car park this time....and took a few pics of the birds. It was a bit unnerving when I took my eye away from the camera and realised they had surrounded me. I stepped back and about fifty swans and geese took a step forward.

I then went on a puddle tour. There was an almighty storm this afternoon where lightning split the sky apart, the rain was torrential and so the puddles were huge. I went out on my bike and positioned myself near....not too near!!!.....puddles and waited for the huge splashes. I got some great pics and it was a difficult choice deciding which image to go for. I decided there will be many, many more puddles...sadly.
