Pacific Black Duck

Australia's Pacific Black ducks are listed as "secure". Indeed these fellas have to rank (along with silver gulls) as the great avian survivors of modern times. Gazing around our parks and waterways they all look pretty plentiful, well fed and decidedly pleased with their lot. Even their self satisfied smirks seem to suggest, "I'm all right mate. You can make yer own arrangements."

Wideangle Wednesday: Leading Lines (widwed66):

Lots of fine postings don't appear here but they were great just the same. As usual I have gone for a variety of ideas and the power of the individual compositions. I don't retreat from my thoughts on leading lines with curves in them but a few of those below don't feature curves. The straight leading lines and the compositions that they support are just so good, they had to be included.
