The Cat and the Birdfeeder

"Now then," thinks Tufty ... (this is actually a neighbourhood cat and I've no idea what his name is, but we used to have a pet cat named "Tufty" that looked very similar in appearance) (hence the 'adapted' name) ... "I wonder how long I have to wait until until the birds get hungry..?"
