Some days....

"wow" simply isn't enough.

Its been a dull grey day down in the valleys today - but up on the mountain, above the cloud, it was a different world, a magical world.
Chatting to ski patrol on the ride up its clear there's still not enough snow to make venturing into the woods a good idea - fallen trees lying just under the snow are a hazard too far - but today I was happy to cruise the pistes, reacquaint myself with a few favourite coffee stops and simply take in the view.
