Ride like a girl

Yvonne Stagg was the owner and celebrity rider of her own Wall of Death at the Dreamland amusement park in Margate, Kent back in the 1960's and 70's. She was known as the 'Queen of Dreamland' and was the UK's first and only woman proprietor of the Wall of Death. 
Her mother ran the Cedar Club, a famous jazz venue in my home town of Sittingbourne.
Her brother was seriously injured in 1967 when he crashed his car against a wall on Keycol Hill (where I lived at the time).
