February Storm Flowers

I bought these pink carnations yesterday to bring the beauty of spring into my life in anticipation of a pending snow storm. Well, it is 9:32am and the snow has started. Schools and businesses in the area have been closed.  The forecast is for an accumulation of 12-18 inches. I glance outside to a windy white mass, while inside my carnations shine brightly.
