Fresh coffee
This is a close-up of some (packed as) freshly-roasted coffee beans. As a restaurateur, I obviously strive to give the best quality, even if it is just the after-meal coffee. The training by the people at the coffee company told us that beans shouldn't be left in the hopper for more than 2 hours or they begin to deteriorate in quality. I have stuck to this mantra, keeping the opened bag of beans airtight. However, I have seen many places fail to stick to this simple rule, and the coffee does taste sub-standard.
