Mom at Malpas, Cornwall

We had great holidays in Cornwall, often travelling down on the 'Cornishman', the name of the train from Birmingham New Street Station.

Auntie Annie, Mom's adoptive mother, lived in Trafalgar Row, at the very start of the Malpas Road in Truro.  This was the longest cut-de-sac you have ever known leading to a small hamlet on the River Fal.  I remember having chicken in a basket at the pub there.  Whatever happened to food 'in a basket'?
