Cross Like an Egyptian

I'm not quite sure why I like this photo, but I do - a quick shot from the taxi going to school this morning.  I don't want to say this too loudly and tempt fate,  but the group seems to have settled down a bit. Almost halfway through and the first written assignment due in at 9.30 tomorrow morning. The group are quite fun in input sessions, are always engaged and are quick to laugh. We only had tears once today because of nerves about the first written assignment. She was better after I'd reassured her. They're often nervous about their English (in addition to the content), despite it having to be good enough to get on the course. Stress and tiredness make everything worse.
