A few miles out

We were in town this morning and as the sun was shining we drove a few miles north to a village that would seem to have everything. A school, a church, a village shop and a pub/hotel.
We had lunch in the pub restaurant- not busy on a winter Tuesday, but it was friendly, the lunch delicious, beautifully presented and served.
Just around the corner there is a farmyard which has been sensitively developed into offices and houses. Even the old piggery has been transformed into very pleasant offices!
