Gateway to the Fells

These gates lead to a world of discovery. They protect my Hobbit House from intrusion, and they open to allow me daily excursions on the fells that I love. At closest hand are the North Western Fells, peaceful and uncrowded at all seasons of the year. But if I venture further, then the whole of the Lake District is there to enjoy. I am very lucky.
