Flood Defense?

A mixed day with sun and cloud and a slight breeze.

After a weekend of excrutiating sciatica pain, I am still suffering with lower back pain and so I am on light duties!   So no Pilates this morning and just a few tidying jobs.

This afternoon, we had a drive up towards Playa San Miguel and a bit of fresh air on the Prom.   We noticed that a trench had been dug out amongst the small dunes and it had flooded with seawater during the recent high winds.   I don't know if that was the intention as it is quite a way to the edge of the sea at this point.   Will we ever know?
