Crepe Myrtle Pruning

It is time to severely prune Crepe Myrtles.  These were probably at least 3 times larger with many limbs before pruning.  Crepe Myrtles bloom off new growth, so it is common to see them like this in February.  I did not prune the ones in our yard last year.  They still bloomed, but perhaps not as fully as they might have with full pruning.  I  will do this in the next week or so.
