fame at last!

I do occasionally send photos in, and encourage others to do so, but this is the first time I have been lucky!! quite chuffed.

I don't ever expect to get a blip in the spotlight as I don't have enough subscribers and comments, but this has made my day.

we had a VIP visitor at the Search Room at New Lanark today, the MD of Border Biscuits [maybe you have tasted their yummy dark chocolate gingers], which is a Lanark company and has given several thousand pounds to support the volunteer programme for the Search Room. He was very impressed and hinted that more dosh could be forthcoming. Great news as there are lots of other things that we need money for.

Lots of things have gone by the wayside since my first blip on 1 June, so tonight I plan to catch up on a few.
