Splash of Spring

After yesterday's full day, another long session, this time with the Senior Management Team.   Just as some local authorities are setting their budget for next year today, so too are we planning as we try to bridge the gap between what we need to do with what we've got.  Not easy, and it followed a couple of hours discussion on other key matters which will have a bearing in the future.

So it was good to have the room brightened by these daffodils.  In the garden I've already got some daffs heads poking though the soil and colouring up.  They will be in for a shock in the new few days.  But to see them this early in the year is most unusual, even before all the crocuses have emerged.
