New Arrivals

The year's first guinea fowl keets emerged yesterday - just a small family of two. The hen laid so many eggs in a nest near the neighbours' garden  she couldn't keep them all warm and it's a miracle any hatched.  If we had found the nest earlier I would have removed some of the eggs.  Guinea fowl are careless mothers and I always put the keets in a little house to keep them safe.
