Football

Eight years ago today, we brought home a four-year old bird that screamed at and bit everything that moved and was scared of all possible toys and what not.

It took some patience and I must admit I was a bit desperate at times, particularly during the first few months, but in due time Helga turned out to be the sweetest, funniest and most affectionate pet you could possibly imagine.

Here he is playing football with me this afternoon. We also played a bit of basketball, stacked rings and tried to fit some pieces of a simple jigsaw puzzle to the slots they do not belong to.
