The Sunflower

A couple of days ago I photographed our single giant sunflower but I hadn't done it justice so I tried again. Since the flower is about 12 feet high and there were gusts of wind it still wasn't easy but that is why I was out there!

To my delight there was a bee buzzing around it. I have a nice one of the bee on the flower here but I liked it in flight even better because the bee is hard to spot against the flower. I can also see a few raindrops remaining from the morning showers which you can see if you enlarge.

What an enjoyable delay this morning but now I must get cracking on the more productive tasks.
