Snow in Seattle

3 days ago I blipped a collage of snow on the island so it’s only fair that you get one from the city too, don’t you think?   (looks a tad better, bigified) Woke up to (surprise!) a few inches of winter wonderland (see view out the front window with my 96 yo next door neighbor in her window)..all schools were closed and some businesses were shut down..  We took a lovely walk up to Volumteer Park…  Brings back memories of our kids and sleds there… but it’s also sort of pitiful because there was barely enough for all the sleds we saw…and all those happy kids…The camellias in bloom were surprised and we saw many snowmen along the way.   By the time we were back it was huge flakes that melted on touching the ground and by 3:30 this afternoon there was almost no snow at all left. (see extra of same view from my window)  What a change.   Maybe that will be it for winter…enjoyed the day tho!   The kids will be back to school tomorrow!
the other extra is the snowbear built by these neighbor kids right in front of our door!  Took their photo on our way back.  The snowbear is still there on totally green grass.
