Fifteen feet from near-disaster!

If you look at this photo you can see a tree root spread across the path. I was so busy looking at my camera settings that I tripped over it and fell face down onto the ground. Fortunately I saved my beautiful Nikon, at the expense of my ugly chops, by swinging it out of the way before I landed!
