Tay turbulence
I returned to my A Year with my Camera exercise: to "take a photo on my highest ISO that is aesthetically pleasing (black and white is acceptable)". I thought it would be interesting to see if noise is more acceptable in B&W.
Indeed it is. This is the same ISO 5000 as Thursday's blip, but pushed 1 stop in Lightroom, so the effective ISO is 10,000. I chose the subject as one needing a fast shutter and good depth of field, and hence a high ISO.
I enjoyed standing at the edge of the river right next to the flow. This is a point where a causeway crosses the river at low tide, so I had a safe platform right beside the water.
