Home after shopping at the Co op.
By the time I got out, wrapped up for the Winter weather, there were quite a lot of customers in the Co op. I bought a few items to put in the Co op's Food Bank, pasta and spaghetti, and then bought a small bunch of daffodils in bud. I appreciate them being £1, as flowers are a joy to have and most bouquets are very beyond my pocket.
I also bought some Cherry Menthol Jakemans soothing sweets.
I am generally trying to cut down on sugar, as I have returned to my pre Christmas weight, and need now to maintain it.
I have a dry throat, inspite of trying hard to drink more water to stay hydrated.
The weather was blue skied and pleasant earlier in the morning.
Now we have rain, which feels as cold as sleet, and a strong wind.
It is what it is.
Each day is unique and we can only try our best to learn and grow, and enjoy it.
Food for thought, from My Dear Son, by Colin Urquhart.
"The mystery that has been kept hidden for ages...
Christ in you, the hope of glory."
"The victorious Spirit of Jesus lives in you, child."
