Not on speaking terms?
The pair of collared doves Streptopelia decaocto who share their garden with us don't seem to be on speaking terms this morning.
Collared doves are now a common UK species with about 1 million breeding pairs distributed throughout the land. However, they are recent immigrants having arrived in Norfolk in the 1950s following a rapid expansion across Europe from the Middle East. Mrs May has yet to pronounce on whether they will be allowed to stay following Brexit.
