Autumn in Spring

This is an autumn leaf back lit by the morning sunshine. The tree Liquid Amber (Richer Red). The leaves hang on all winter even when the new growth is bursting as is now. Straight out of the camera, just a subtle vignette added.

Lovely spring day, sun and warmth. We did a repitition of what we have done the last two mornings, that is take cuttings and slicing some of the daffidol clumps and transporting up to our section. One more morning moving some peony roses and we are all but done.

I went out for a lovely lunch with Rach (physio from work) and her wee boy Jaxson. We were able to sit outside with is so lovely for this time of the year.

Then home and into the cycling gear for our first bike ride of the spring. We went down to South Beach.....and didn't do too bad either. There wasn't any wind to contend with which always helps.
