Mono Monday - From my Window

Cue Play School music... we're going through the square window! It's a cold and frosty morning out there, and I'm thankful for semi-working central heating...

(The boiler has begun starting randomly rather than by controller and thermostat, which means I had to shut it down or suffer a sauna! The 24 hour callout facility went to answerphone and said the offices were shut until Monday, so I'll have something to do later...)

This is the view of the front front garden from my study window, and as the pale Sun rises to the right out of frame (comes straight up centre frame at Summer Solstice) the clouds boil over the Cotswold Escarpment in the distance.

The veg beds are still fairly quiet, and the chickens beyond are still locked up. Beyond that the village hall and playing field stretches to the main Bristol to Gloucester line and the Brunel designed railway station (closed by Dr Beeching).

All in all not a bad view. Thanks to KangaZu for hosting MM159
