Crash!

Whilst at bellringing I was told that a car had careered out of control down one of the roads near our house and mounted the pavement, taking out a lamppost.

The driver then legged it and Police arrived to sort it all out. We hadn't heard a thing so Leo and I went and checked it out! It must have made quite a noise as there were bits of bodywork and lights scattered all over.
