Chapati
Where does the day go?
I stay in bed till late. Claire goes running. There are tents to take down, rubbish to bin, bottles to recycle. Some light bulbs get changed. Washing is hung up, taken down, put away.
Gav Hazel visits. I haven't seen him for ages. He's no longer tree planting in D&G - it's an industry that has been killed by over regulation, health & safety, and decrepitude. Instead, he now tends the gardens of rich folk in Edinburgh.
Curry for tea: lamb dopiaza (using meat from last year's party), aloo mutter saag, daal and home made chapatis. The daal is a bit bland, but otherwise not bad at all.
Angus plays me Larks Tongue in Aspic through his new dsp crossover & it sounds amazing. Later, he says it shows up the weakness of his sub-woofer. No sound system is ever perfect. Life's lesson in miniature.
