Lifted

Wednesday was pretty fantastic.  It is usually my day of meetings....all....day.....long........sigh.  This Wednesday, though, no meetings.  YES!  It was great.  

There was another dance rehearsal, and Sugar was anxious to have a chance to work on this lift.  They added it to the dance about a week or so ago....it turned out well, and she was feeling good about it.  Her cold is still keeping her feeling down, and she was emotional.  This is the very first time in all these years of dance that she does NOT feel at all prepared for the recital.  She is always glowing and confident, so it is hard to see her feeling so anxious.  It is apparent on stage that she isn't confident in the choreography.  There are a variety of reasons for this.....and we are hoping to get through this recital doing the best she can, and looking for those moments that make her feel proud.
